I always find it intimidating when you're looking to get work completed on your home. You never know which quote is right, the quality of the workmanship, and if you're being charged for something you don't need. So I decided to get four quotes to render the front of my house which was showing it's age. I hadn't realised how difficult it is to get contractors to actually come out to look at the job, when they did, I was chasing them to provide a quote after ten days. They ranged from that seems really cheap to how much?
Protex were entirely different, Wes called around to view the work within a day, a comprehensive written quote was provided by the end of the day. I was impressed with the speed and and professional approach. I felt that if you can get this bit right where the others couldn't, then I'm sure the standard of the work would be equally good.
Wes and James completed the rendering for me and made it all very easy keeping me informed ar all stages.Their attention to detail and ensuring that all areas were masked up, plants in the garden and surrounding areas were fully protected was impressive. Their work has made a such a difference to the property.
I would have no hesitation in using their services again, or recommend them to a friend or family member. Thank you so much!

It's been almost a year since I've had the house sprayed and I am still very happy with it! Wes and the guys worked on it for 3 days which were 3 of the hottest days of 2022. My house is somewhat awkward with it opening onto a main road and no back access so had to go through the house. Nothing was too much trouble. Quote stage was really easy and the lady in the office was quick to respond to any queries I had. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Soon after contacting Sharon, Wes came and quoted for the rendering of our property and a date was agreed for the work. James & Jamie arrived on time to start repairing the cracks. Next day everything was masked off including the drive and the spraying began. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and would recommend this company. It was a pleasure to give them our business and to deal with a family firm.

The quotation was prompt, precise and thorough - so much so I did not bother to seek alternative quotations, which for a retired professional from the construction industry is almost unheard of. The work commenced exactly to the day the company programmed and apart from losing one day to bad weather, it was completed within the four working days planned. Outstanding work by Wes, James and team; their work was timely and expertly executed. So much care was taken during the preparatory stage before the wall render spray process. This resulted in the perfect (maintenance free) facelift for the house! I’m absolutely delighted with the result. So, so glad we went with Protex. By far the most professional and impressive of the three surveys we had prior to work beginning. Wes absolutely enthuses knowledge and experience!. The Protex team were very professional throughout, keeping me fully informed throughout about the rendering process, timescales and progress. I did not know the full extent of the preparation which would be required before applying the spray render, and it was this careful work that took the time over 6 days. Great care was taken with protecting windows and surrounding driveway and walkway to prevent damage and staining and everything was cleared away very neatly on a daily basis. And the result? I now have a beautifully rendered house, which is a big contrast to before the work began. I am delighted with it. Thank you all so much.

Wes and the guys are brilliant, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We have had some bad experiences with builders and really needed a team that would do what they said, when they said. We had to wait a little longer because they're busy and it was slightly more expensive than some quotes but totally worth it for peace of mind, reliability and quality. They are easy to communicate with, fixing any snags without hesitation.

Wes from Protex was well mannered, a very hard worker and a perfectionist which is always a pleasure to see.
