Mr & Mrs F

Rous Lench, Evesham

Country House built in 1838, brick and stucco construction requiring repair and restoration.

Mr & Mrs F - Rous Lench, Evesham
Prior to commencement of restoration works, using a high-power pressure wash, a large percentage of the external walls, parapet and balustrades were cleaned to remove algae. We then began to repair and restore defective rendered areas, with particular attention to the chimney stacks, we removed the blown render and repairs were made to the brickwork / stucco and then the application of lime render began.

Once restoration had been completed, some areas needed to be blended in, using the horizontal and vertical lines scoring technique to give a stone jointing effect to the finished render.

To enhance the features of this country house Andura Long Life paint was applied, the ornate details were picked out in White with the main area being coated in the colour Camelot using a flat coat application.
